Protégé Search was founded by Rory Verrett, an expert in executive search, diversity and public affairs, who brings 20 years of experience to client projects.

A graduate of Harvard Law School and Howard University, a former leader in the diversity and public affairs practices of two global executive search firms (Spencer Stuart and Russell Reynolds Associates), the first-ever head of talent management at the National Football League, a public affairs executive, and host of Protégé Podcast, an award-winning podcast on career success, Rory has 20 years of experience working with, networking with, advising, and recruiting high performing executives from diverse backgrounds.

We place a senior leader in charge of the search

We do peer to peer sourcing and evaluating of candidates, ensuring that each client receives high performing, highly referenced candidates as quickly as possible. Unlike large search firms, Protégé Search does not use a leveraged model, whereby junior staff do much of the candidate outreach and the senior leader acts as a project manager. We take a limited number of searches at a time, thereby ensuring a high touch, hands on, and highly communicative client experience.
